I just saw this Honda commercial on TV. It looks way too much like Justin BUA’s Art work, BUT I just checked his facebook and he says he didn’t do it. What do you guys think…did they totally jack his style or am I wrong? Check out the video and the pics I attached and if you want more pics check out his facebook as well.

I met this guy named Anthony at a local car shop through a friend of mine. At that time I had my own t-shirt business going, and it was doing decent, but I needed someone local to print my shirts. Anthony said he could do it, so I had him print a set of shirts for me. After much hassling I finally get the shirts, and he messed them up pretty badly so I asked for a refund.
Surprisingly he refused and then ensuded a week long argument, in the end I got my money back and I happily stopped talking to him (this all occured around Summer of 2007).
Fast forward to today, I went to my friend’s shop again, and one of their employees informed me about this Anthony guy jacking my designs with his own t-shirt company. After some digging I got a website and I checked it out myself. Low and behold he was jacking two of my designs and one of my graphics for his banner.
Mine on the right.

Pretty lame! But he goes further and claims that he designed Import Bible (My company) in a local forum.
However I contacted the admin of the site and told him my story and now the post has been removed. I’ve also made sure I passed on the news to every local forum, website I advertised on to make sure this sleezy business practice doesn’t get far.
The Volkswagen Passat ad is dated 2006, and the second one, for Nissan Tiida was made by a Romanian Team, Publicis, to be more precise, in 2007.
and the second one
I have problems posting the ad from youtube, here is the link for Nissan Tiida
It would be great if someone could come with some additional details.

UPDATE: more details on the similarities between those two ads [also, information on the agencies that created the ads], along with some other funny/or not so funny facts on Romanian advertising on Joelapompe.
