YTWWN EDIT: Both design are unoriginal, finger prints & tapes have been done by a few companies so I don’t think you can really call stussy or supreme the originators of those ideas.
Yes Forever 21 are notorious for ripping off stuff but I don’t think this is the best example.

——————————————————

We’ve all heard of heritage, a company owned by forever21, mainly aiming at male perspectives. But, have you found their inspiration? They try to play the game carefully, but oh, i’ve noticed.

For starter’s they ripped off one of threadless’s design by Christopher Golebiowski called “Funkalicious” they were smart enough to keep that off their website, but walk by any forever 21 and i’ll guarantee you, you can find a mannequin sporting that same tee.

Now here are two shirts from heritage, you can find them at their store’s now, or even on the website.

& Where have i seen these before? Oh yes, from Supreme and Stussy in the late 2007’s.

JOKE: your post is epic and fail. As we have all discussed here before, some images aren’t the most original idea. Mixtapes and thumb prints are quite common images so to see them is probably not a rip. Moreover, the mixtape accusation appears to be more dissimilar than anything. Epic. Fail.

Do you have a vendetta against them or something?

The coloured mixtape shirt is way hotter than the stussy way, and completely different for that matter.
And thumbprints? Logic is right, common as. I can see the similarities but definitely not a rip.

Wasn’t there another thumbprint t-shirt featured here just a couple of months ago? Super duper common.

How do you know that Threadless artists aren’t working with a company that designs tees for Heritage and getting a royalty for the designs? Oh, that’s right, you don’t know. Propaganda.

I have thumbprints in a dingbat font. and actually, when i saw it, i said to myself (because im a shirt printer) that would look cool big as fuck on a shirt.

had i ever seen this site yet? yes, but not this design rip…

NOW, i wont print it, unless its waaay cooler than my original first thought design…

Back around ‘88-’89 I had a Club Homeboy tshirt with a nice big thumbprint on the front as well. Damn… that was 20 years ago. Every time I see a design with a thumbprint I always think of the Swami.
