deviantART photographer “larafairie” has recently discovered her work and image (“a SELF PORTRAIT that I took at the age of FOURTEEN.”) used as the cover for the pornographic film “Body Magic” by adult film company TVX. Here is a link to the story she wrote. Sounds like she needs some help in resolving this issue.

What about calling the Texas District Attorney’s Office? They’re the ones responsible for enforcing the rules requiring everyone involved to be 18 (US code Section 2257.)
If the producer is ripping off cover art, there’s a good chance the rest of his paperwork isn’t in order either. Let the DA’s office know what happened, and they can investigate him. You don’t even have to hire a lawyer.
If they find he’s in violation of his general Sec. 2257 record-keeping requirements, he can go to jail in feloney charges.

Don’t you have legal aid? There should be a free service for youth as a starting point. There is in Australia so there must be in th USA.

Sorry Siouxfire but if you read the entire thread you will see that Laura -IS- the real person she claims to be and this porno business not only stole this image but published with its porn a child.
There should deffo be some free advice goin somewhere …
