TSK..TSK..TSK NO SHAME!!!! ????”99 PROBLEMS TEE” ????
Hey,that looks like an inverted “bumpy leather” texture on the rip-off. I love it when you can name which Photoshop filter something is … then you know it sucks.
the “bumpy leather” texture is a colorway/texture found on nike’s.
it’s a reference you probably wouldn’t get,
but regardless this is a ridiculous bite!
It is a rip,and the people who rippes it should have action taken against them. Can I just say, tough, that both of the designs look like somethig from the 80’s?
that ‘bumpy leather’ texture is supposed to represent elephant skin, i believe.
Re: the Nike colorway, don’t forget that the “Fight” is in the same script as the “Flight” from Nike, and is thus the basis for the entire parody. Ah, forget it David, you just don’t get the references.
Hey David, maybe this’ll help:

(Yes, Kirvi these are designs from the 80’s. That’s kinda, like, you know… the whole point. You kids are killing me!)
The FLIGHT and TEXTURE is not the POINT.
The POINT is one company RIPS OFF another company’s
design with no CHANGES.
CAPS LOCK IS A GREAT WAY TO EXPRESS OPINIONS
@thepoint
I hope you’re not talking to me. I’m fully aware of the rip-off; I was responding to the fact that the point of the PARODY relies on the Nike references. Kirvi said “…Can I just say, tough[sic] that both of the designs look like somethig[sic] from the 80’s?” I don’t care if you’re Kirvi or not, I was responding to this statement.
In other words, when I said “that’s the whole point”, I was referring to the point of the parody, since Kirvi apparently doesn’t get it. (Yes, I called David and Kirvi kids since they don’t get the 80’s Nike references).
WOW! no shame at all, because really before they released this they knew that the shirt existed for sure, it’s a very small world and even smaller industry, how you still put this out is beyond me, but hey it is what it is, a straight up bite! lol!!
Sneaktip has been known to copy designs 1 to 1 before: http://freshindustrie.com/blog/20090401/art-piracy-is-not-fresh/
I was not the one to respond to you Anonymous. I was actually stating that they looked like something out of the 80’s because they are horrendously ugly. Some things just shouldn’t be brought back, you know?
Damn I mean I was NOT the one who responded to you, Anonymous.
it always sucks when the rip looks better than the original
its always easier to improve on a design. even brands like apple with all the talent in the world redesign their products later and make them look better than the original.
OMG CAPS MAKES EVERYTHING SEEM SO MUCH MORE AWESOME, I THINK SO TOO.
Sneaktip=worst clothing company ever! BTW, Nike’s the only one getting bit here. Mi Gente had a great design, yet it still rips Nike’s elephant print and Flight logos. Sneaktip did a puff daddy, a bite of a bite
Oh well! The “Fight The Power” image what “Migente” clothing wants to call new, is an old concept from Spike Lee’s “Do The Right Thing” (Public Enemy’s “Fight The Power” from the movie’s soundtrack). Besides, the “New” Sneaktip joint is just as fresh and, a helllllloffffalllotttt more reasonable on the price tip!!!!!!!!!!
[...] their some hub-bub when sneaktip bit this of mi gente (see example here)? anyway, sneaktip just dropped a “fight the power” fitted in the famous [...]
Sneaktip also ripped off their “1992″ tee seen here http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3657/3361098544_7eb7e63370.jpg
the original artist is a designer named Agent B. He even put “Marky Mark” on the design, just for fun and Sneaktip was stupid enough to put that on the shirt too. lol
SNEAKTIP AND Marlon Raichel ARE BIG BITERS AND BULLIES, THE BRAND IS DEAD ANYWAYS, DON’T BUY BITERS SHIT, DOESN’T TAKE MUCH EFFORT TO BE ORIGINAL !
