Hot Topic bites Rockett Clothing

Seems like the people at Rockett are pretty upset about it too, as I keep seeing myspace bulletins about this.
The Hot Topic version of the shirt is on the left. Ryland from Cobra Starship is sporting the Rockett version on the right.
From their bulletin:
I’ve seen Rockett go from a garage to what it is now, the people with Rockett have and are working very very hard to make Rockett everything that it is, and the fact of the matter is Rockett released a shirt about 3 months ago called ‘Grills’ (oh, and would you look at that, when Hot Topic ripped it off they named it Grills too!) and about a week ago the same shirt (with a few very minor differences) popped up in Hot Topic stores and the online store.

wow. who would want to steal such a shitty shirt. oh yea, hot topic.
That shirt is blasphemously ugly in it’s non-bitten form. Who would wear that?
More importantly, why would hot topic bother stealing it, when there are so many better amateur shirt designers to rip off?
Every set of teeth was ripped off from a book about diseases. I recognized the teeth of a person with yaws, which is a a condition when a person is born from a parent with a veneral disease, a bad one. The rest look familar from a book of diagnosis too. Perhaps the copyright ripoff came before the second ripoff even. What one does doesn’t make it right for the second one but doesn’t make the first one innocent, does it?
Who cares about the rip-off..who would wear this pig’s-arse ugly shirt anyway?
