Republic rips off Jock

This is a pretty blatant rip by Republic from the cover to the wonderful comic book Scalped, from artist Jock:

Come on, they didn’t even try to make it look slightly different. Comic artists are underpaid and don’t get enough respect as it is, so it makes me sick when places like this rip their work.

So sad, im about to start a clothing line starting with tshirts, but the more i learn about this business the more im disappointed..people just copy….Shame
It’s actually even more a direct copy than you might think. The t-shirt is based on Jock’s initial version, that had a different face (much closer to the one on the t-shirt). He changed it for the final cover.
