“Details for Perfect”

They say imitation is the highest form of flattery.  We see our designs copied on a regular basis, usually it’s our firm website being copied by some fly-by-night operation overseas, but occasionally one of the original designs we’ve created for a client site gets stolen by a competitor who doesn’t think we’d ever notice….

The original — Arecont Vision — http://www.arecontvision.com/

The sad imitation — Anyvision — http://www.anyvision.net/

There was a story on the Scottish local news about a firm in Edinburgh who had their website cloned by some Chinese company who were offering identical services for identical compensation with a url and company name just shy of the Edinburgh based company’s.

Arecont Vision/Anyvision. Sounds like a similar scam.

Didi you find out who these guys are?
