   not a rip. some authors are so uncreative they want their bookcover to look just like someone else’s. i design for a publishing company for a while and came across that a lot.

    Seems pretty typical. However if I were to write a book and had no idea how to make a cover I would scan other books for ideas first. Seems like *someone* has done that here…

    Wouldn’t say direct copy, but I definitely think they saw that book before they made their own cover.

    What irks me more though is the issue of relatives riding off of other’s successes. Particularly considering that I thought Eminem (or whatever hs is these days) apparently doesn’t like his mother, how convenient that she is publishing a book to “set the record straight”.

    I really do despise when relatives publish books about their famous family member though…
