Hmmm, registering doesn’t work for me here, but here’s my link about Zara clothing company. In the article there’s a link to an obvious case of stolen graphics by hiring a lame designer to copy Freaklub’s graphics.

Some of the things on this site were rip offs of rip offs of art and other things that are decades old if anyone did a real search on it. Some of the art was on posters I saw as a hippy, some from books I studied in school and some of the web sites were such a simple design that pretty much a fresh grad new to HTML would do them without a thought. Not rip offs in a true sense. Now the big name people might not have seen the little stuff and was just a sponanious thing, some may have, some countries have copyright laws, some don’t strange site, not really a valid place to search for or recognize copyright violations, but enjoyable to see the reactions of folks to what they think is a rip off of their art which probably was a rip off of something they saw in childhood on back a long time to something someone saw in the 1800’s or before. There were a lot of inventions that were invented at the same time by different people continents away from each other but only one got credit. Shame they all didn’t. Check out some of the ruins around the world and you will notice a lot of rip offs or same thing at the same time, too bad.

Hello I’m just too lazy to post :P

but here’s a blatant copy of a great site:

    http://www.apple.com/

and what’s worse is that the site is from tv show of a huge bank here in Mexico

    here´s the copy:

alright so im lazy and dont want to go through the process so instead i will post it here for you to do what you will with it.

I was looking at a website for the author Ian Ayres whom i just read was cited with using 9 passages in his new book “super crunchers” without giving credit to the authors that origonally produced the work.

Looking at this new site i noticed another book who has an image similar to a book i had noticed before

here is the image on another book entitled tweeked:

I hope this makes it in because it is very blatant.

hey guys i found out about your site tonight at a show i was selling clothing at. in NY.
killbrand started in 2002 a lot of companies have copied the style of writing kill accross the chest of a hoodie.
    http://killbrand.com/products/black-hoodie-splash-logo

    http://killbrand.com/products/kiss-of-death-hoodie-1

    http://killbrand.com/products/the-kill-hoodie

    http://killbrand.com/products/super-spraypaint-mens-hoodie

here is a picture of some lameo company called “glamour kills” they basicly goes against everything killbrand stand for ( grass roots campain, no finanical backer, hard work etc.) no matter how much they dance around the word, it’s to close and therefore they are posers.

Is there any way to delete the post about me by “Anonymous” up above? Me and the other artist had a talk about this long ago and we simply both had the same idea. At any rate, the post has been haunting me ever since. Can it be taken away somehow? I can’t figure out how to contact any admin or anything for this site.

What would you suggest that I do, since I am victim of a website designer not completing the website and admitting that he had no solution for the many problems that were there on what he did deliver? Since I have $2,500 invested, and a year trying to work with him to get complete, I am left holding the proverbial bag. Attorneys want serious retainer money to take the case and no telling how long continuous payment of their expense would pile up before any resolution, if any resolution could be attained.

  24. on 02 Oct 2008 at 11:31 pm YTWWN

    Hey David Tipple,
your story has nothing to do with what this site is about. But I would suggest just getting another designer to fix/redo/finish your site. I have seen it all before Client (you in this case) wants more than the designer can actually achieve either because it is above his skill level or just not worth the money. $2500 isn’t a lot for a web site so you may have been expecting more for your money.
Note: I may be completely wrong here b/c I don’t know the full story but like I said it’s for different site.

  25. on 02 Oct 2008 at 11:36 pm YTWWN

    Hey Fred Gall,
Don’t you think with all the history that mike giant has in tattooing that many of his own peers would also very well know Sailor Jerry? I think this is a case of he “hoped you would notice” by appropriating it in his own way to give a nod to sailor Jerry.

    Loving what you are doing.

I have been ripped off so many times and never did anything about it.

Why ‘designers’ copy everything they see and still call themselves ‘designers’ is waaaay beyond me.

Who are you expressing? You? NO. You are expressing someone else and have no idea where they came from to arrive at that idea. Use your brain or learn to flip burgers.

It has come to my attention that an artist named Anne Pogoda, who goes by the alias ‘Azurelle’ as well as ‘darktownart’ has infringed the copyrights of pretty much every prestigious artist out there, including Linda Bergkvist (who ironically has also been exposed as a fraud/art thief several years ago), Ruis Loyo, Melanie Delon, etc., as well as other people’s line art and photography.

Here is the complete irrefutable evidence that shows she copied and pasted large portions of the artworks from the said artists into her photo collages (or paintings, as she calls them):

This person has yet to be banned from CG Talk, and had their work publicized in Expose via Ballistic Publishing AFTER the blatant evidence was presented – apparently that’s how they deal with art thieves.

Ironically, anyone that speaks about the obvious art theft/plagiarism gets banned immediately from cgsociety, most likely in an attempt to hide the con artists they profit from. A company supporting this sort of thing should not be supported in any way, let alone be allowed to be in business.

Coz I find that I get a bit confused with the posts trying to differentiate the rip from the original. Some people upload multiple images in one post and it gets messy?
