Hmmm, registering doesn’t work for me here, but here’s my link about Zara clothing company. In the article there’s a link to an obvious case of stolen graphics by hiring a lame designer to copy Freaklub’s graphics.

Some of the things on this site were rip offs of rip offs of art and other things that are decades old if anyone did a real search on it. Some of the art was on posters I saw as a hippy, some from books I studied in school and some of the web sites were such a simple design that pretty much a fresh grad new to HTML would do them without a thought. Not rip offs in a true sense. Now the big name people might not have seen the little stuff and was just a sponanious thing, some may have, some countries have copyright laws, some don’t strange site, not really a valid place to search for or recognize copyright violations, but enjoyable to see the reactions of folks to what they think is a rip off of their art which probably was a rip off of something they saw in childhood on back a long time to something someone saw in the 1800′s or before. There were a lot of inventions that were invented at the same time by different people continents away from each other but only one got credit. Shame they all didn’t. Check out some of the ruins around the world and you will notice a lot of rip offs or same thing at the same time, too bad.

alright so im lazy and dont want to go through the process so instead i will post it here for you to do what you will with it.
I was looking at a website for the author Ian Ayres whom i just read was cited with using 9 passages in his new book “super crunchers” without giving credit to the authors that origonally produced the work.
Looking at this new site i noticed another book who has an image similar to a book i had noticed before
here is the image on another book entitled tweeked:
I hope this makes it in because it is very blatant.

hey guys i found out about your site tonight at a show i was selling clothing at. in NY.
killbrand started in 2002 a lot of companies have copied the style of writing kill accross the chest of a hoodie.

http://killbrand.com/products/kiss-of-death-hoodie-1
http://killbrand.com/products/the-kill-hoodie

here is a picture of some lameo company called “glamour kills” they basicly goes against everything killbrand stand for ( grass roots campain, no finanical backer, hard work etc.) no matter how much they dance around the word, it’s to close and therefore they are posers.

Is there any way to delete the post about me by “Anonymous” up above? Me and the other artist had a talk about this long ago and we simply both had the same idea. At any rate, the post has been haunting me ever since. Can it be taken away somehow? I can’t figure out how to contact any admin or anything for this site.

there is a contact email on the about page but i have deleted it for you. I’m guessing it was coming up in Google right?

What would you suggest that I do, since I am victim of a website designer not completing the website and admitting that he had no solution for the many problems that were there on what he did deliver? Since I have $2,500 invested, and a year trying to work with him to get complete, I am left holding the proverbial bag. Attorneys want serious retainer money to take the case and no telling how long continuous payment of their expense would pile up before any resolution, if any resolution could be attained.
October 2nd, 2008 - 23:31
Hey David Tipple,
your story has nothing to do with what this site is about. But I would suggest just getting another designer to fix/redo/finish your site. I have seen it all before Client (you in this case) wants more than the designer can actually achieve either because it is above his skill level or just not worth the money. $2500 isn’t a lot for a web site so you may have been expecting more for your money.
Note: I may be completely wrong here b/c I don’t know the full story but like I said it’s for different site.
October 2nd, 2008 - 23:36
Hey Fred Gall,
Don’t you think with all the history that mike giant has in tattooing that many of his own peers would also very well know Sailor Jerry? I think this is a case of he “hoped you would notice” by appropriating it in his own way to give a nod to sailor Jerry.

I have been ripped off so many times and never did anything about it.
Why ‘designers’ copy everything they see and still call themselves ‘designers’ is waaaay beyond me.

It has come to my attention that an artist named Anne Pogoda, who goes by the alias ‘Azurelle’ as well as ‘darktownart’ has infringed the copyrights of pretty much every prestigious artist out there, including Linda Bergkvist (who ironically has also been exposed as a fraud/art thief several years ago), Ruis Loyo, Melanie Delon, etc., as well as other people’s line art and photography.
Here is the complete irrefutable evidence that shows she copied and pasted large portions of the artworks from the said artists into her photo collages (or paintings, as she calls them):

This person has yet to be banned from CG Talk, and had their work publicized in Expose via Ballistic Publishing AFTER the blatant evidence was presented – apparently that’s how they deal with art thieves.
Ironically, anyone that speaks about the obvious art theft/plagiarism gets banned immediately from cgsociety, most likely in an attempt to hide the con artists they profit from. A company supporting this sort of thing should not be supported in any way, let alone be allowed to be in business.

It has come to our attention that an artist called George Patsouras is harassing and stalking young female fantasy artists such as Linda Bergkvist and Anne Pogoda!
In case you didn’t know what we are talking about, we are refering to all these messages of hate, that were made by George Patsouras, who is an artist and cyberstalker and gained first unfortunate popularity when he harassed Linda Bergkvist (Enayla) back in 2006 / 2007. Example: http://comments.deviantart.com/1/31422468/361499498
His posts also include wordings against Anne Pogoda that read like „Dear Anne Pogoda, kill yourself. You have no right to live. Off yourself now. (…) Do us all a favor and kill yourself.“, „She’s a piece of shit.“
Since 2006 George Patsouras, under the nickname slickgreekgeo, ikillelves, itsintheluluz, azuartthief and various other nicknames has been feeding his obsession on women that paint fairy- and fantasy related art by following them around online and trying to get into a friendship based relationship with them, until these women eventually back off from him because of his strange behaviours.
As a revenge to this rejection, he then usually posts defamatory or derogatory statements about his stalking target on web pages, message boards and in guest books. Since his victims usually are female artists he accuses them of personal betrayal, lies, photomanipulation / tracing or plagiarism.
Here is another „shining“ example for his stalking against Anne Pogoda. Including his favorite phrase „kill yourself, kill yourself now!“ http://comments.deviantart.com/4/1577597/1513292357
These hundrets of messages of hate are designed to get a reaction or response from his victim, thereby initiating contact.
We are now calling out his name because professional sources against stalking and cyberstalking suggest to drag the stalker out of his anonymity. The necessity for these actions is proven by his HUNDRETS of messages of hate against Linda Bergkvist and Anne Pogoda.
Encouraging others to harass his victim, George tried to involve third parties into the harassment aswell.
His acts of violance are repsonsible for the disappearance of many wellknown female fantasy artists from the online world. Please help us make DeviantART a safer place for female fantasy artists!

The comment before mine was made by George Patsouras wo is an artist and cyberstalker and gained first unfortunate popularity when he harassed Linda Bergkvist (Enayla) back in 2006 / 2007.
Under the nickname slickgreekgeo, ikillelves and various other nicknames he has been following her around onto numerous art related websites to harm her reputation by posting thousands of messages of hate. Such as http://comments.deviantart.com/1/31422468/361499498
Encouraging others to harass his victim, he tried to involve third parties into the harassment aswell.
Since then George has been feeding his obsession on women that paint fairy- and fantasy related art by following them around online and trying to get into a friendship based relationship with them, until these women eventually back off from him because of his strange behaviours.
As a revenge to this rejection, he then usually posts defamatory or derogatory statements about his stalking target on web pages, message boards and in guest books
designed to get a reaction or response from his victim, thereby initiating contact.
Most recently, George Patsouras has turned his attention onto fantasy artist Anne Pogoda again, who not too long ago refused to re-accept him as Facebook-friend and on Skype.

His acts of violance are repsonsible for the disappearance of many wellknown female fantasy artists from the online world.
When you are a female fairy artist/ fantasy artist etc, we encourage you to not talk to this guy and to not let him add you on private messaging systems and / or block him, shall you have him in your list.

GEORGE PATSOURAS commented here using the nickname “AGAINST THEFT” to harass fantasy artist Anne Pogoda.
