I have been surfing on-line more than 3 hours nowadays, but I by no means found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth sufficient for me. Personally, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will probably be much more helpful than ever before.

It doesn’t matter what J’s motives are, he took someone’s hard work and manipulated it for his own entertainment. Receiving accolades from friends for work he didn’t do is like getting paid for a job you never showed up to. When you write a paper, you have to cite where your material came from, same principal should be applied here. Tell the little girls you didn’t draw these, just used your shoddy photoshop skills. I also doubt the fact that “all proceeds go to the ASPCA”. He’s probably got a new Xbox or something.

The best and saddest part is all the comments supporting JME are the same person posting. Same words, all of them have the same unnecessarily spaced punctuation. Seriously dude, you’re not supposed to put a space before a comma, only after. It’s a dead giveaway all the comments are from you. Also try using some capital letters somewhere. Surely with all the girls you’ve impressed tracing, some of them would actually have come to stand up for you? Looks like you’ve failed in more ways than one.

I think you missed a few comments in this thread. ALL of the ‘people’ supporting JME, were actually JME himself. Read spadooky’s post above.. then re-read all of the ‘support’ posts’.. and get ready to laugh your ass off.

I wish there was a ‘bump’ feature on this blog. This definitely needs to remain at the top of the heap for all to see.

The people commenting on here to defend Jme are definitely idiots and the epitome of people completely out of the loop about anything related to the arts. There are way too many people who think art is a commodity that deserves no recognition, no pay, and can take 2 minutes to produce. The thread of people defending Jme serves as a GIGANTIC insult against any and every professional artist and designer out there. As for that band that used to use Jme’s “artwork” and now has to “shell out $100/hr for someone less qualified to do our stuff”…first of all, no. You can EASILY find anyone 100x more qualified, that actually does work that isn’t stolen, and you can sleep easy at night knowing that you’ll never be approached with copyright infringement claims over your band artwork. Why would you want that hanging over your head? This was going to happen inevitably, and it’s better that it happened now. These dumbasses who say that the poster must be pathetic for “making this page” all sound like 13 year old girls who a, don’t understand the concept of a site dedicated to artistic plagiarism, and b, have a complete and total lack of appreciation and respect for art and the hard work, concept, and talent it takes to produce it. Stop denying it. You ARE wrong, and there is no way around that. This is a cause that artists and designers constantly fight, and we won’t stop defending ourselves and each other. Period.
