I get that stylistically anyone can shout fair use, but of all the similar details it is the band aid on the head that really makes this stink of intellectual property theft. Hadn’t noticed it till a third look over, but you might actually be able to sue (and win) over this.

Mimicking a style is one thing, art does this ad infinitum, but this isn’t art, we are talking about a tangible product, the design was already being sold, and technically the Warner design is in direct competition and could affect sales of the original, I believe that eliminates any fair use arguments and puts you in good legal stead.

Justin , like other people said , it’S not illegal.

However as an artist myself , I TOTALLY understand your frustration.
It’s so obviously heavily inspired from your original .

The stance the bandaid exactly at the same spot.
The texturized body.

Is that an official Looney Tunes shop? Either way, you should probably at least get in touch with Warner Brothers over this. If it is their shop, maybe there’s a chance they didn’t realize their designer ripped your work and would be willing to make it right somehow.

You don’t know how to read, Charles? How about posting nothing.
Larry first points out that LEGALLY this isn’t a rip because what they ripped is still within the borders of the law. But he still feels that it’s a rip nonetheless.
