I like the fact that his keen designer eye didn’t see the “V” and “W” making up the logotype, and just slapped it above a company name that has no relation to those letters.. anyway, seems he took it down from his site.
Bit late to the party, but I thought it was quite funny that he changed his logo – to the same font, so in essence the same style, as one of his portfolio/client sites… see http://cl.ly/2s2J440s2c2J3F3j0J14 (his logo in the background behind the lightbox)
Why on earth would you have fanart on a professional website as part of your PORTFOLIO? I do fanart all the time just for fun between paying work but that shit stays on deviantART, not my website!
Plus there’s nothing better than posting your own eyeballed copies of well-known franchise images to showcase just how little you understand about how anatomy works among other things.

Not to mention, creepiest portfolio ever. Thievery and charlatanism aside, would anyone hire this guy?
Perhaps to stalk my ex, yes.

Rip aside, I found his portfolio not creepy, but a bit sad. I’m not sure I’d trust a designer who seems to love himself so much.
Of course, I’m a designer who doesn’t have such a narcissistic bent.

It seems that the company oddinnovation.com has changed their logo around. Using the ripped off version and changing it around a bit.

The naruto character at the bottom of his portfolio kept me from taking him seriously, even before I knew he was a rip off.

Poor Chris Spooner is always getting ripped off – http://www.blog.spoongraphics.co.uk/tutorials/logo-design-process-and-walkthrough-for-vivid-ways
Notice the ‘designer’ used the one-colour version of the logo, as shown in Chris’s walk-through.
Tisk!
